Jim and Jean Strathdee,
internationally honored concert artists, worship and song leaders, have written over 400 songs, hymns and anthems, including "I am the Light of the World" and "What Does the Lord Require." Our music is sung by faith communities on five continents, offering a message of unity and compassion, justice and healing.
This Fall, after 16 fabulous years, we have resigned our position as
music directors at Saint Mark’s UMC, Sacramento. After our three events
in October we will take a break from the road work. Then, starting in
January 2007, we will continue to travel and share our music. At this
time our 2007 schedule includes tours in Alaska, Nicaragua, and
Ontario, Canada plus a national conference for Family Promise (national
network of hospitality for homeless families) and one for the
Association of Christian Educators for the Presbyterian and UCC
denominations. There are two other trips scheduled to Canada plus work
throughout California and Oregon. This schedule will be posted shortly. (Stay Tuned!)
