| Hello Friends, Here are two podcast interviews with Jim & Jean done by Methodist Disciple, a media ministry that offers wide ranging conversations with people whose life and work help us to be followers of Jesus, or in other words, disciples. In the first podcast (#32) Jim & Jean reflect upon their 40 years of music ministry, their loves, passions, the issues they care about, and the power and diversity of congregational song. In the second podcast (#33) they talk about their international travels and tell stories of sharing their music with transformative faith communities in the US and Canada, Central America, India and New Zealand. They also share some of the struggles of working and parenting together as a couple, and they speak of the loss of their son, Michael, to mental illness and how this experience has changed their life and faith. Sprinkled thoughout both interviews we hear Jim & Jean sing the music they are talking about. Each session is about thirty minutes long. |
